Why Nylon Whips?
“I saw a need for a quality hunt whip that withstands the rigor of hunting hounds. We used nylon whips at Midland Foxhounds, but the whip was a shortened version of a Florida cow whip used to work cows in the swamps around the Everglades. These whips did not look like the traditional English style hunt whip, so I decided to make the traditional English style hunt whip using nylon. They have a proper taper from the top to the belly and then from the belly to the end where the cracker attaches to a looped end. From a few feet away a person cannot tell one of my whips from a leather English hunt whip.”
